shosmosis
rich media rockstars United Virtualities have rolled out the next big thing (or at least it oughta be) in online advertising: shosmosis. check out their online demo and interact with the expandable banner to see just how cool it is. in this example featuring a clip from "Friends", users can click on the streaming video itself to get immediate info and links to various featured products. ain't nothin but Flash, so i'm hoping to run into this in the real world (okay, online) sometime very soon. (via clickz)
doodling her way out of debt (not really)
woman, up to her eyeballs in credit card debt, has vowed to hand-draw all of her credit card bills each month until she has paid them all off! wouldn't a second job be a better use of free time?

at least it will clear up that annoying nose squeak
after not blogging for several weeks, it became a bit of a mental block: i had to find something ubercool for my re-entry onto the blog. well, either the news has gotten boring or else i have (i hope it's the former) - here's all i could come up with:
what's grosser than snorting cocaine off of a toilet seat? snorting a gelatinous mass of cocaine and WD40 off of a toilet seat.
i'm back, baby!

sing it, sister
hollis thomases for clickz on the necessity of online advertising. further support for the theory that targeted messaging and great creative will break through the clutter and get your message across. always refreshing to hear someone address "user ignorance" too.
