had to laugh at an article on macworld.com, "the ultimate resource for Mac professionals and savvy Mac users" (props to snoopy for the link) in which the author implies that the reason for the recent Henrico iBook Stampede was that people were so hot to get their hands on a Macintosh (as opposed to a Windows system). i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that people willing to bash each other with lawn chairs for a $50 computer probably don't give a rip what kind of operating system they can run on it. let's just leave the Mac snobbery to the civilized artisitc types.
