he's no fool
i'm secretly excited for the new Mr. T. reality show ("I Pity The Fool", on tvland this fall), in which he will integrate himself into people's lives to help them with a problem. in one episode, he goes to work with a woman who's being sexually harrassed, and tells her piggish coworkers "Don't be disrespecting no lady, fool!" He's also vowed to give up his gold chains in the wake of katrina's devistation, claiming they are "an insult to God". i can't wait!
in other shameful celeb-tv viewing, i just finished watching the entire run of kathy griffin's "My Life on the D-List". i don't know how i ever got sucked in, since i used to not be able to stand the sight of her, but she has quickly moved up to my own a-list. how could i not like someone so catty and insulting?! she's still hard on the eyes (esp in the season finale when she runs around sans makeup), but she's a total riot. give her a chance if you haven't already.
